Realism is the one and only, and forever eternal, universal language spoken by everyone despite their nationalities. To tarnish its integrity is to stain  the very  manifestation of  human psyche.

Realism is not a substitute of a camera. A painting looking like a photograph cannot be considered realism. Realism is a step beyond, . Realism requires not a seeing eye but a listening heart.
